Seriously, since you are reading this, you KNOW obesity is easily preventable, definitely cure-able, yet devastatingly prevalent and costly to our society... in dollars AND quality of life! Look around... we're not getting it! All the government agencies, drug companies, Doctors, and so called "fitness experts" are scratching their heads in the line at the bank, where they cash in on OUR sickness....  WE HAVE THE CURE! RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW! HERE IT IS AMERICA...
  "In plain language, base your diet on garden vegetables, especially greens, lean meats, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch, and no sugar.... AND... partake in a fitness regimen consisting of "constantly varied, high- intensity, functional movement." 

This is the CrossFit prescription and it works! Have you explained to your family and friends these simple truths?

Studies show Medicare spends anywhere from $1,400 to $6,000 more annually on health care for an obese senior than for the non-obese."

If you are spending 2 hours or so in the gym, moving slowly between body part isolation exercises in the hopes of getting "a pump" that is not intensity.... and your results will be blunted. Constantly varied, functional movement at high intensity is your prescription... What did your old workouts, pre- CrossFit, look like? We wanna hear it!
