Our barbell strength training program focuses on building strength and size. We use the weighted barbell to teach and perform squats, presses, deadlifts and cleans because these exercises WORK! They are functional, full range-of-motion, compound movements and are FAR superior to any other training methods ever devised. The use of machines and isolated "body part" training can never deliver superior strength because the body doesn't work like that. Your body functions as a complete system... "segmented training will deliver segmented results"...In contrast, Barbell training requires the lifter himself to stabilize, balance and control the load through a full range of motion. This fact is unique to barbell training and completely absent in machine based training. The overwhelming majority of "gym-goers" don't know how to train barbell movements correctly, so they plod along ineffectively or avoid it altogether and wonder why they make little if any progress. Our program is based on sound, basic, "tried and true" knowledge and hard work, not the latest gadget or fad . It is organized, coached and tailored to the individual lifter.
